Yes yes, I know the comparison to Megaman is uncanny, but in my defense this original concept was conceived before I knew about Megaman way back when I was a wee lad. But the concept was blatantly taken from Astro Boy so I guess I break even really XD

To be honest, I found his personality to be slightly more on the social-butterfly Marty-Stu train of thought, one tip that I'd found helpful is that if you're going to have an openly happy-go-lucky character, you'll want to have them try to be a crowd pleaser, Personally, I'd consider myself to act like this at times, and if in said mood, I tend to question the opinions of others, without regarding why I choose what I do. Rocky Rickaby is a good example of this; the character is overtly giddy most of the time, and when not completely immersed in childlike obliviousness, he tends to force his own happiness onto himself and others as a defensive instinct. I'm not trying to be rude, but it's the middle of the night and I always feel like writing, giving feedback, ect. in the middle of the night. Also, I just spent 10 minutes looking for the proper emoto-whatsit to display my current mood, but unfortunately I failed to find neurotic on any of the lists, so Helpful will have to do.

im sure he's cheerful attitude might get on peoples nerves at some point or even make them break out in song XD

though its that kinda personality that'll get him killed =p and those are the best type XD
he does seem like one to easily get tricked by a bad guy more then once as well :B he's lucky he has those special arms otherwise he'll end up like dopo orochi's son who used the same type of attack XD
