I'm surprised what I can crank out in an hour. This was for my Japanese Final, we had to make something to relate to what got us interested in Japan. I would've drawn Kimba or Astroboy but it had to relate to our major, so since I've been working on nothing but 3D work so I haven't had time to draw, so this was a breath of fresh air.
And what better way to show what got me interested in Japan than a manga title card with a poorly written little saying about friendship and adventure? Ah I love 80s and 90s written manga.
So since I wasn't really in a creative thinking mode I made a clone of "Cross Epoch" (Which a DBZ and One Piece crossover) because I remembered when I actually used to "attempt" crossover comics.
So I decided to do a cliched crossover title card with , and nothing says cliched like SPACE ADVENTURES!!
I might go back and fix the horrible toning job with color or something, you never know.
Ugh... I can't wait until this quarter's over... 3D animation is not my thing... I need to draw again.
Characters copyrighted to their respective owners blah blah blah, legal jabber.
EDIT: so... yeah. Apparently a lot of people liked my presentation and after class I got a few questions about this piece, my teacher told me that I did a very awesome presentation and that I got full credit for this *WHOO-HAH!!*
I would pay for a graphic novel/manga series that would look like this, and that's mainly because of the insane Megaman meets Teknoman vibe I get from it, and, just WOW LOOK AT HOW WELL THOSE ARE DRAWN.
The title, yeah. I thought I should put SOME Japanese text in it, though, ironically we're only learning Hiragana, but titles are usually presented in Katakana so I thought what the hey.
*runs for the hills*
